One-Punch Man Its Third Season Will Continue (Come 2027)
Without a doubt the most shocking piece of news, the much-discussed troubled production that was season 3 of One-Punch Man wasn't enough to halt the series' continuation. Season 3 will come back with a follow-up batch of episodes in 2027—a date so remote they easily could have labeled it season 4. More surprisingly, animation studio J.C. Staff will continue to be in charge. On a positive note this time, director Shinpei Nagai is set to direct from the start, which could be taken as a good sign. But, the key visual for the continuation is identical to the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou oriented differently. This leads one to believe that, by now, they are probably teasing the fans.
The Ruri Dragon Series Is Poised to Be the Premiere Shonen Jump Anime By Kyoto Animation
Kyoto Animation has established a standing for being an prestigious animation studio, making its mark not just for the superb artistry of its work but for the ethical practices of its employees—a uncommon practice in the industry. Unexpectedly, until now, it had never worked on an anime adapted from a manga published in Shonen Jump, perhaps the best-known magazine in the business. Ruri Dragon will change that, and what a great choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo achieved widespread acclaim when it launched in 2022 after just a small number of issues, but then went into a lengthy break due to the mangaka's health issues. When it resumed publication with a lighter schedule, the series proved it hadn't lost the fans' support and goodwill, and now the community is thrilled about the forthcoming KyoAni adaptation.
Kingdom Season 6 Will Get a Sequel In Production
Kingdom is the highly popular, epic Shueisha manga that is aside from One Piece. If you've never heard of it before, it's because it only recently got an English translation, but the anime has been running for a while, and season 6 was yet another stellar entry. As it happens that was just the initial batch, because a "sequel" has been confirmed as currently being made, and it will probably premiere in 2026.

This time, the studio will be taking on the adaptation of Tomato Soup's manga A Witch's Life in Mongol, which is based on the real historical figure of Fatima, an prominent woman and thinker in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. From the trailer, the anime called Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a highly unique and intriguing visual style, which evokes Ranking of Kings. Set to premiere in July 2026, this one will absolutely be on my must-watch list.
